Dave Performs "20 Beautiful Children" with Southern Great Lakes Symphony, West Middle School Chorus on March 10

One year ago, I won the Downriver Idol competition with the Southern Great Lakes Symphony, singing "Maria" from West Side Story with the orchestra. On Sunday, March 10, I will reprise that song and premiere the symphonic arrangement of "20 Beautiful Children." Members of the Robert J. West Middle School Chorus will perform "20 Beautiful Children's" solos and chorus parts, and they are excited to perform with the orchestra.

The concert will be held at Flat Rock Community Auditorium at 3pm, and tickets are $25 for adults and free for students under 18. Purchase them at the door or at SGLS.org.

Come to Tongue's Protein Bar and Chill Lounge in Wyandotte on Friday, March 22 from 7-10 to see Dave perform a solo acoustic set. Dave will perform original and cover songs from a variety of genres, and welcome special guests to perform with him. The admission is free, the coffee is delicious, and the music will rock. Join me!

Corner Pocket Performances from 2/15/13 Fundraiser @ Plymouth VFW

On Friday, February 15th, Corner Pocket (a 4-piece version of The Bel Airs) performed blues, oldies, Motown, and country hits at the Plymouth VFW post. The gig was a fundraiser for Sue Willis, and made thousands of dollars to go towards the purchase of medical equipment. Corner Pocket was honored to be a part of this event! Here are four songs we performed.

On Friday, February 15th, a new band, Corner Pocket, will perform oldies, rock and roll, blues, and Motown hits at a fundraiser held at the Plymouth VFW post. Tickets are $25, and proceeds will help cover medical expenses for Sue Willim. Your ticket covers dinner, refreshments, and entertainment. Come join us!
