The song "20 Beautiful Children" is a response to the senseless violence at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT on December 14, 2012. The project has three goals: First, to bring solace and healing to viewers and listeners, second, to raise money for select Newtown area charities to begin healing the wounds of those hurt by this tragedy, and third to give children a way to do something to help - to feel they are not helpless when faced with horror.
